'Nanking', the undisputable truth

I've just finished watching the movie "Nanking" produced by Ted Leonsis, thanks for my colleague of getting the screen copy from VIFF.I can't help crying out loud, and crying non-stop. I knew I would be saddened by the movie, but I'd never expect myself to be depressed as much. I'm heartbroken, torn, and am very angry.
I am asking: Why is this world so unfair?
The Japanese soldiers brutally invaded, butchered, massacred and raped hundreds of thousands of innocent Chinese civilians. And yet, Japan received enormous help from the US after war to build it into a prosperous country. China never got any help from the West after the war and when she finally fought her way out of poverty, people like Stephen Harper look at China as an evil state.
Who's more evil? Why are the Chinese so unfortunate?
The movie is very strong and compelling. It documents plain facts of the Japanese atrocities in China. One woman survivor said she was raped by 5 soldiers at the age of 12. She passed out before the Japanese finished on her. And when she woke up, she said "my body below the abdomen was a total mess."
One Japanese soldiers recalled how he and his fellow soldiers massacred 20,000 Chinese men along the Yangtze River. These men, roped in 10s, were all gunned down in less than 30 minutes.
The foreigners in Nanking who voluntarily set up a "safe zone" during the Japanese invasion said they did it out of morality. They said they just couldn't do nothing witnessing the vicious violations of human rights happening before their eyes.
Stephen Harper: if you can hear me, you should condemn the Japanese for being reluctant to admit to the scale of their atrocities even today. If you are a real human right fighter and if you are really serious about morality, you should do the right thing by pushing through Motion 291 in the parliament. And do it with heart -- not for political goods.
I urge all of you see the movie Nanking. You'll know what I'm talking about.
Susanna, in tears.
