'There're no innocent Chinese bystanders': pro-Tibet blogger

Another thing to think about is, that there is no such thing as innocent people (except children).I have to argue with this poster: how do you know Chinese people do not want change? How much do you know about the people and the system? This is a irresponsible accusation used to justify violence against a people.
Everyone living within any society has the POSSIBILITY to take action and to speak up for others. If that woud have happend in Germany there would not have been a second world war.
So, being a chinese civilian does not make you an innocent bystander, as they are part of a society.
And if they would really want change, they can do something about it.
That is a responsibility we all have in our respective countries.
Another poster has some very good observation and questions raised:
I think as a Chinese, what we should really focus on is reflect on everything that's happened so far. Why "NOBODY" believed a word the Chinese government had said. We expected general resentments and bias from Westerners towards CCP due to their unfamiliarity with China, but I am sure all of you were still shocked by the scale of prejudice the world have shown.
On the contrary, why were the numbers brought up by Dalai Lama automatically becoming facts for Western sensationalism. Most important of all, how can the government improve its image and reputation.
CCP obviously still lacks experience dealing with the Western press. I think a huge mistake was made for kicking out all the journalists and then only allow the world to see through their point of view. It kind of gave the impression of a CCP propaganda and it had something to hide. When the West gets no source, that's what let them directly to Dalai Lama. Even though there's no way to ascertain Dalai's claims, people of the world automatically sided against whom they stereotyped as the evil red commies without hesitation. Remember "His Holiness" is 70+ years old, so there's only so much time left before Chinese government come to a conclusion with him.
